Cloisonne is an enameling technique using thin, flat wires to form designs on metal.  Each piece of Magick cloisonne is hand made in the Fusager studio.  24 karat gold wires are individually cut and meticulously bent with tweezers.  The wires are fused to a silver disk that has been engraved to catch reflections of light.  Using magnifiers, each cell is carefully layered with different colors of enamel to create a shaded effect.  Each layer is fired in a kiln at 1450 degrees F.  After 10-15 firings, the resulting gem is cut, polished and set in gold.  Ask about about our special Internet pricing on this and other Magick selections.
